[origin: EP1013836A2] The shower unit consists of hand-held shower (3) and a holder (5). The holder is formed so that the hand-held shower can be positioned with its longitudinal axis (6) located in a horizontal plane, mainly parallel to a wall (2), on which the holder is mounted, and/or the shower may be turned about its axis, esp. relative to the holder, pref. about the horizontal axis of a mounting (22) for the holder. The holder slides along a vertical bar (1).
