Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9842496A1] The invention describes methods for producing a single-piece, especially, a closed hollow body (15) for surf boards or similar objects which consists of at least one mold having a resin-impregnated woven fabric (44, 45, 46, 47) and the mold which forms the hollow body (15) is hardened in a clamping mold (1) at a raised temperature. The interior wall of the hollow body is lined with a gas-impermeable inner sack (21, 22) and the outer shell of the hollow body (15) is surrounded by a gas-impermeable cover (14; 5). A vacuum is produced and maintained between the inner sack (21, 22) and the cover (14; 5) during the hardening process.
