[origin: WO9914129A2] The invention relates to a device (1) for labeling a compact disc (CD) (2) comprising a supporting plate (3) for receiving a label (4), a labeling projection part (6) which is adapted to a free inside diameter of a label center opening and projects over the supporting plate (3), and a label receiver which is adapted to a free inside diameter of a CD center opening. A pressure cover (13) is provided in order to press down a depressable label projection part (6) against the elasticity in the supporting plate (3) plane, whereby the label projection part (6) and the initial stress guide (9) are connected to the supporting plate (3). The arrangement of the inventive device provides an advantage for use in that the label projection part (6) is configured so that it is movable in relation to the initial stress guide (9) and the initial stress guide (9) is stationary.
