[origin: WO9929607A1] The invention relates to a method for producing multilayered small bands out of plastic for high-strength woven fabrics by first producing a small band (1) which has a large width and which is then folded once onto itself along the longitudinal axis thereof in a folding process in order to produce a small band (2) having a smaller width and at least two layers. The small band is then wound up in a spooling process. The stacked layers of the small band (2) are fixed to one another by means of a heating process before being wound up. According to the invention, the folding process is carried out immediately before the spooling process in order to simplify the production process and to also produce small bands (2) with an easier processability.
