Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19736351C1] The energy relates to a device and a method for energy saving simultaneous electrolytic treatment of several workpieces connected in the form of electrodes, each having the same electrolysis current. The inventive device comprises at least two electrolytic partial cells in a tank and at least one power source supplying the partial cells with an electrolysis current. The partial cells also have support fixtures that are used for electrical contacting with workpieces attached thereto, in addition to at least one respective counter electrode. The workpieces are connected as cathodes and the counter electrodes are connected as anodes during electroplating of said workpieces. During etching and deplating, said workpieces are connected as anodes and the counter electrodes are connected as cathodes.
