[origin: WO9844225A1] Disclosed is a cordless electronic lock with a variable "automatic" code, having at least one main bolt (4) operated by an electric motor (M), and controlled by an electronic circuit. A storage cell (A) integrated into the lock is used to supply the elements with electricity; said storage cell can itself be supplied with power from an external source (if necessary). A remote control transmits a coded signal (encoded list) to which the transmission code automatically adapts. The receiver verifies (on its own list) the codes received, and "activates the motor". the lock is thus comprised of at least the following elements: one transmitter unit (key); a receiver; a circuit for controlling the motor; a motor; a bolt mechanism; and a regulated and protected supply circuit. All the elements are contained in a main shielded casing.
