[origin: FR2768582A1] Packets are regrouped prior to transmission with the insertion of additional information packets. Successive frames are constructed by regrouping the data packets, and inserting, at the start of each packet, a frame packet row identification block. Network signaling blocks are inserted in successive frames, with time spacing and short maximum duration which is less than that of a packet transmission. Each receiver tests (700,701) the presence or absence of a network signaling block corresponding to its relevant network. It then synchronizes itself (71) on the successive occurrences of packet identification blocks corresponding to its group.
