Abstract (en)
To give a rounded profile to edges and corners of shaped workpieces, with small radii, the shaping action is wholly through the use of high pressure fluids at the edge/corner zones. The shaping mold gives expansion zones (8) at the edge/corner areas (7) of the workpiece, where the workpiece is fitted into a shaped recess together with an insert (6) to expand the corner/edge zones into the expansion spaces by expanding units (9) of tough and flexible polymer or metal materials.

Zur Ausformung kleiner Radien in Kanten- und Eckenbereichen von vorgeformten Werkstücken oder Formteilen sieht die Erfindung ein Nachformen ausschließlich in diesen Kanten- und Eckenbereichen durch Flüssigkeitshochdruck vor. Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens weist eine Vorrichtung ein Werkzeugteil (Formeinsatz) mit in seinen Kanten- und Eckenbereichen ausgebildeten Expansionsräumen auf. <IMAGE>
