Abstract (en)
The optical smoke detector is fitted with an optical bridge (6), which consists of a light source (7), an open measurement path, and an enclosed reference path (7'). A receiver is fitted to both paths, and coupled to these is an evaluation circuit. The optical bridge is also fitted with two circular apertures, affixed in front of the light source. When smoke is present in the measurement path, the light is distorted and the evaluation circuit triggers the alarm. An Independent claim is included for a method of compensating for the temperature drift of the optical bridge.

Der Rauchmelder enthält eine optische Brücke (6) mit einer Lichtquelle (10), einer Mess- und einer Referenzstrecke (15 bzw. 16) und einem Mess- und einem Referenzempfänger (13 bzw. 14). Die optische Brücke (6) enthält neben der Lichtquelle (10) und den Empfängern (13, 14) als einzige optische Elemente zwei im Strahlengang nach der Lichtquele (10) angeordnete Lochblenden (L, L'). Die Lichtquelle (10) ist in einer ein Luftreservoir enthaltenden Kammer (9) angeordnet, deren Oberfläche wesentlich grösser ist als diejenige der Lichtquelle (10). Die Temperaturdriftkurve wird durch Heizen der Lichtquelle (1) und Bestimmung des Meldersignals bei verschiedenen Temperaturen ermittelt. <IMAGE>
