[origin: EP0905225A1] The present invention relates to processes of bleaching fabrics wherein fabrics are contacted with a liquid bleaching composition comprising a hypohalite bleach, from 0.1% to 20% by weight of the total composition of a surfactant and from 0.001% to 10% by weight of a stabilising agent selected from the group consisting of radical scavenger, cheating agent and mixture thereof, in its diluted or neat form. Advantageously, effective stain removal performance is delivered upon ageing of the composition when used in any laundry application.
