Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9916992A1] The invention concerns a bar-shaped closure, in particular for sheet metal locker doors, comprising an actuating device on the door leaf external surface and coupled with a mechanism for the longitudinal displacement of the locking rod. In order to facilitate the handling of said bar-shaped closure, the actuating device has a hand lever (13) capable of pivoting by being moved outwards relative to the door leaf (10), about a hinge line axis (16) parallel to the door edge. A first bearing (22) designed for one end (19) of a Z-drive lever (18) is located fixed on the hand lever inner surface (13) oriented towards the door leaf (10). The other end (20) of the Z-drive lever (18) is located in a second bearing (24) capable of sliding on the door leaf side. Said second bearing (24) is coupled with the locking rod (30) by means of an articulation (27) passing through the door leaf (10).
