Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1018434A2] System depositing letters emerging from addressograph or franking machine inclined on one edge, includes profiles allowing letters to fall over backwards into collection tray, gently. A one-piece insert (2) is docked on the franking machine (1). A horizontally-running channel (211) is molded into its front wall (21), leaning slightly rearward from the deposition plane. This connects to the guide plane (121) for the lower edge of the letter in the franking machine, with the letters sliding along it. The back of the front wall undercuts the channel. The insert is associated with an angular deposition tray (3), which can be adjusted relative to it.
