Abstract (en)
The stirrup consists of two side branches (2) and a plate (3) to support the rider's foot which is able to pivot and move up or down more or less vertically between the branches' lower ends. Each branch has at least one and preferably two flat ends (5, 6) with more or less vertical elongated slots to receive one end of the plate (3) or a pivot (8) projecting from it. Between the two flat ends the stirrup has a movement limiter and damper (9) on each side, made from materials with different degrees of elasticity.

La présente invention concerne un étrier (1) pour l'équitation. Étrier pour l'équitation formé par deux branches reliées aux extrémités d'un support d'appui (grille) du pied du cavalier monté pivotable autour d'un axe reliant les deux branches, caractérisé en ce que ledit support d'appui (3) est également monté avec faculté de déplacement vertical ou sensiblement vertical par rapport auxdites branches (2) de l'étrier (1). La présente invention peut être utilisée dans le domaine de l'équitation, en particulier pour faciliter l'apprentissage ou la pratique de l'équitation. <IMAGE>
