[origin: EP1018580A2] A cooker fitting structure (1), comprising a component support or horizontal step (11) at the edge of an insertion opening (2) of a cooker plate (3), is new. A cooker fitting structure (1) comprises a cooker plate (3) with an opening (2) for flush insertion of a fitting component (4) such that the outer edge (5) of the component (4) is flush with the top (6) of the cooker plate (3). The component (4) lies on a support, which is supported on a seating chamber of the opening edge, or on a horizontal step (11) at the opening edge. An Independent claim is also included for a cooker component for fitting in the above fitting structure.
