[origin: WO9848904A1] The invention relates to a vaginal weight for insertion into the vagina for exercising and examining the striated musculature of the pelvic floor, having the special characteristic that the vaginal weight is shaped asymmetrically weight-wise, said weight comprising a weight member (8; 14) or a plurality of weight members inside the vaginal weight, the center of gravity of the weight member (Tp2) or the total centre of gravity of the weight members inside the vaginal weight being below the centre of gravity (Tp1) of the vaginal weight without weight member or members, the lower termination of the vaginal weight being provided with an anchorage (14) for securing a string (114). The invention thus allows optimun positioning of the vaginal weight in the vagina.
