[origin: EP1020133A1] The attachment arrangement has a connecting part (3) with an eye (6) near a surface recess (4) for accommodating the end of a chain or chord (7). The eye, which has an opening at a dividing point (8), is attached to the edge of the recess and curves away from the recess at an end section (10) that can be pressed back down onto the edge of the recess after inserting the chain or chord. The free inner width (a) of the eye is smaller than the free inner width (c) of the recess edge and smaller than the outer width (b) of the thickened end of the chain or chord.
