[origin: EP1020136A2] The brush (1) has a core (2) of twisted wire to hold bristles (3), and a free end (5) connected to a handle (6). The core has a wave-like shape with a longitudinal center axis (7), which is offset to the side relative to that of the handle. At the free end of the brush, the bristles extend in a semi-circle away from the central axis. The brush is stored in a container for liquid mascara, so that at least some of the bristles engage on the inner container wall.
