[origin: EP1020137A2] The tabletops are each mounted rotationally movable by a table column and coupled together in synchronization through kinematic crank gearing. Each column (3a, 3b) is divided into a stationary foot (6) and a relatively movable column part and each movable column part is connected rotationally movable through two parallel off-set rotary axes to the stationary column foot on one side and to at least one control plate (4) on the other side which is parallel to the tabletops and serves as the transmission element.
