The blank has a first side wall section(3) connected to the bottom(1) and lid section(2) by a fold line(4,5), and a second side wall section(6) connected to the bottom or lid section on its side facing away from the first side wall section. A flap section(8) is connected to the second side wall section on its side facing away from the bottom or lid section, or is connected to the bottom or lid section by a fold line. End wall sections(10,11) are connected to the bottom or lid section by fold lines(12). An Independent claim is included for a procedure for erecting a folding box from a one-piece cardboard blank in which the flat blank(16) in the region of the lid section is placed above the product to be packed, the two side wall sections folded by 90 degrees, the bottom section and flap section folded by 90 degrees, and the end wall sections also each folded by 90 degrees.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Aufrichten einer Faltschachtel aus einem einteiligen Kartonzuschnitt, der schlauchförmig um das zu verpackende Produkt herumgefaltet wird. Der Faltvorgang erfolgt dahingehend, daß der ebene Zuschnitt (16) im Bereich des Deckelabschnitts (2) oberhalb des zu verpackenden Produkts (17) angeordnet wird, zwei Seitenwandabschnitte (3, 6) um jeweils 90° gefaltet werden, ein Bodenabschnitt (1) und ein Lappenabschnitt (8) jeweils um 90° gefaltet werden sowie das Falten von Stirnwandabschnitten (10, 11) jeweils um 90° erfolgt. Das Anordnen und Falten des Zuschnitts geschieht während der vorgenannten Verfahrensschritte bei kontinuierlicher Förderung des Zuschnitts und des Produkts. <IMAGE>
