Abstract (en)
An apparatus for cooling beer and other beverages in kegs for on-tap dispensing, wherein the keg that contains the beer or other beverage to be dispensed on tap is cooled by wetting the entire lateral surface of the keg with cold water that flows continuously out of a plurality of holes provided in a lower part of a rigid tube (4) which is curved so as to form a ring and is fitted on the top of the keg, is closed at one end, and is connected at the other end, by means of a flexible tube (3), to a pump for recirculating the water, said water, after wetting the keg, being cooled again by a refrigeration system. <IMAGE>
