[origin: EP0908679A1] The flame monitoring circuit has a pair of terminals (1,2) coupled to ionization electrodes (3) of the gas burner or to a UV sensor (4,4a), a low pass filter provided by a resistor (R1) and a capacitor (C1) coupled to one of the circuit terminals (2). The capacitor is supplied with an AC voltage for providing a signal indicating flame failure.
