Abstract (en)

The machine for the continuous laying of new railway track sleepers has a wheeled frame and a sleeper feed (11) to carry the new sleepers along the machine line to a sleeper laying unit (10). The units to grips and secure the sleepers are operated by drives (29,31). The sleeper laying unit (10) has a longitudinal sliding movement, in relation to the machine frame, shifted by a drive (25) to give a cyclic longitudinal setting so that the sleepers are laid at precise intervals. The sleeper laying unit (10) has a support (22) to rest on the laid ballast of the permanent way, as the sleepers are laid and fixed in position.

Abstract (de)

<IMAGE>
