A door or window frame assembly (2) combined with a roller shutter housing (6) has the housing mounted on the upper cross-member (20) of the door or window fixed frame (4) so that the housing's inside wall (15) lies flush with a plane (21, 21A) passing over the inner face (22, 22A) of the fixed frame or opening frame (5). The lower surface of the housing is divided into two sections (18A, 18B) on different levels - one aligned with the lower surface of the external wall (10) and the other with the top of the fixed frame cross-member, with the shutter passing through a gap (19) between the two.

L'invention concerne un ensemble porte, fenêtre ou analogue plus volet roulant, comprenant un cadre dormant (4) apte à recevoir un châssis ouvrant (5) et surmonté d'un caisson (6) de volet roulant. Selon l'invention, ledit caisson (6) est disposé sur la traverse supérieure (20) du cadre dormant (4) de sorte que sa paroi interne (17) se situe, sensiblement, dans le prolongement du plan (21 ; 21A) du cadre dormant (4) ou du châssis ouvrant (5), tandis que la sous-face (18) est subdivisée en deux tronçons de sous-face (18A, 18B) délimitant entre eux la fente (19) pour le passage du tablier, l'un (18A) de ces tronçons définissant, à l'extrémité inférieure (24) de la paroi externe (15), un retour en direction du cadre dormant (4). <IMAGE>
