Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1103686A2] The hinge (2) for the door or window has one section secured into the fixed frame and has the other section attached to a shaft (1) which is located in a bore in the end face of the window/door . The inner end of the shaft is threaded into a threaded disc (5) which has an outer thread meshing with the inner end of an adjuster (3) located in a separate bore in the door/window. Rotating the adjuster in either direction adjusts the axial position of the hinge shaft and thereby adjusts the alignment of the window/door in the fixed frame.
