[origin: EP1023855A2] A toothbrush comprises an interchangeable brush plate which is releasably connected to a carrier plate, using a groove-spring unit connected to a press fitting on the brush contact section (4). The latter has a cut back section which is round and wedge shaped. The wedge (7) locates into a groove (3) in the carrier plate (2). The brush can bend over the carrier plate and brush neck region.
