Abstract (en)
Machine includes cylindrical tank (2-4) and compressing head (15, 16) with horizontal toothed roller (16) able to rotate around vertical axis of tank under action of driving mechanism (15). Force or couple from driving mechanism is permanently monitored and when exceeding predetermined value, roller is pulled upwards at a predetermined value and released. Roller is then placed at top of waste and is rotated in opposite direction. An Independent claim is also included for the waste compressing machine.

L'invention concerne le compactage de déchets dans une machine comportant une cuve (2-4) et une tête de compactage (15, 16) comportant un rouleau denté horizontal (16), en appui sur les déchets par son propre poids, pouvant être soumis à un mouvement de rotation autour de l'axe de la cuve sous l'action d'un organe d'entraînement (15). Suivant l'invention, on surveille une grandeur significative de la force ou du couple exercé par l'organe d'entraînement (15), et lorsque ladite grandeur dépasse un seuil prédéterminé, en vue de réaliser une opération de débourrage, le rouleau (16) est relevé d'une hauteur prédéterminée, puis relâché et entraîné en rotation en sens inverse. L'entraînement est avantageusement de type hydraulique. <IMAGE>
