Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1024089A2] The upper side(23) of the pallet provides at least one second support surface area(53) to support the objects for transportation. The second support surface is located in a horizontal second support surface plane(27) which is located from the standing surface plane(21) by a distance(d2) which is smaller than the distance(d1) between the first support surface plane(25) and standing surface plane, the difference being approximately 4 millimetres. At least one pair of first upper flanks extend to the horizontal and point to each other or point away from each other and each formed on a transition from the first support surface area to the second support surface area adjoining it. An Independent claim is included for a transporting arrangement in which second upper flanks extend parallel to the box base flank.
