The lock (1) consists of a bolt (5) fixed to a drawer (2) or cupboard door and held in a first position by a spring (12).. A control (6) is situated with the pivot mounted bolt in a housing (4). A fastening groove (15) is positioned in one side wall (3) of the cupboard. The outer shape of the housing matches the recessed grip of the drawer or door. The control has an angled lever (8). The bolt has a first surface (17) at right angles to the side wall and parallel with one surface (16) of the groove.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verriegelungsvorrichtung (1) für Schubladen (2) bzw. Schranktüren (2) mit einem Riegel (5), der über eine Feder (12, 22) in einer ersten Position gehalten wird, in der der Riegel (5) in eine Sicherungsnut (15) einer Seitenwand (3) des Schrankes hineinragt, so daß die Schublade (2) bzw. die Schranktür (2) verriegelt ist. Über eine Betätigungsvorrichtung (6) kann der Riegel (5) gegen die Kraft der Feder (12, 22) aus seiner ersten Position in eine zweite Position verschwenkt werden, in der der Riegel (5) vollständig aus der Sicherungsnut (15) der Seitenwand (3) herausgeschwenkt ist. Hierfür ist der Riegel (5) drehbar in einem Gehäuse (4) der Verriegelungsvorrichtung (1) gelagert. <IMAGE>
