Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1024292A2] The pump has a gas separation chamber (7) on the input side to separate gas (air) out from the fluid being pumped via a gas outlet (10) in the top of the chamber. The outlet is a tube (12) leading to the running wheel area. It ends in the chamber and at a spacing from its opposite wall (9). The tube has several apertures (13) in it to increase the air removal capacity.
