Abstract (en)
In digital audio broadcasting receiver for broadcasting a plurality of program groups and program data showing program contents in each group among a plurality of said program groups with one broadcast signal, the history table of the frequency data for receiving the broadcast signal and data indicating the service is provided. During the reception of broadcast, the data of the history table is retrieved with the data indicating the desired service. When the relevant data is detected as a result of this retrieval, the frequency data corresponding to the relevant data is extracted from the history table. The receiving frequency is set to the frequency indicated by this extracted frequency data and the desired service is then selected. <IMAGE>
