Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9835796A2] A machine for cutting a product (2) into equal parts comprises a plurality of supports (6), each of which bears a product (2) to be cut, and each of which supports (6) is constrained to at least one transport chain (8) advancing along a supply line (4). Each support (6) is mounted on a respective slide (10) which is laterally displaceable according to a normal direction to the supply line (4). Two optic sensors read off positions of the lateral ends of a product (2) borne on the support (6) transiting along the supply line (4). A command and control unit laterally displaces the slide (10) so that a halfway-line of the product is brought into perfect alignment with a cutting plane along which a blade (29) operates.
