Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9920548A1] Separated household refuse collection requires cost minimizing operation of vehicles (1) containing at least two holding areas (2, 3) for simultaneous collection of varying refuse fractions. In addition, exchanging holding areas ("containerization of refuse collection vehicles") becomes increasingly important. According to the invention, structures are used in which holding areas (2, 3) are partially fastened onto the vehicle in a firm manner and can be partially exchanged in order to optimally adapt to the local relationships. This results in reducing the costs of production, increasing the load capacity and simplifying the construction. The invention also relates to a vehicle construction in which the exchanging of holding areas (2, 3) is simplified. As a result, additional advantages are provided for planning refuse collection routes.
