Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2781494A1] The drying accelerator has a polymeric structure, is water-soluble and comprises cationic loads. A drying accelerator for water-based paint containing mineral particles, polymeric binder in aqueous dispersion and dispersing agent constituting emulsion-polymerization agent, has a polymeric structure, is water-soluble, and carries cationic charges. The accelerator is preferably used in amounts of 0.2-2 (especially 0.1-1) wt.% of active matter per wt. of paint, and it is used in weakly acidic or neutral medium. Independent claims are also included for (1) water-based paint as described above, including drying accelerator as claimed, in which dispersant comprises nonionic emulsifiers; (2) process of application of water-based paint onto support, comprising a) spraying the paint onto support; and b) distributing reflecting beads onto paint and incorporating drying accelerator into paint, where the paint is as claimed, and when drying accelerator is preferably incorporated into paint after distributing of reflecting beads.
