[origin: WO9836583A1] In a telecommunications network, different service platforms include feature interaction controllers. In operation, a feature interaction controller in one platform transmits to the feature interaction controller in another platform data which relates to a service feature which is active on the transmitting platform. The feature interaction controller at the second platform then uses the data from the first platform to detect and control non-local interaction behaviours. For example, the feature interaction controller may inhibit the operation of a given service feature at the second platform if it would conflict in operation with one or more services which are active on the other platform.
