Abstract (en)

Collision impact is cushioned by a honeycomb structure (11) formed by joining angled steel sheets (7,7a) along their length edges so that the honeycomb cavities (8) extend in the vertical direction. The honeycomb is attached to the end or edge of a crash barrier (2) and mounted on a base panel (16). A tensile band (30) extends in the central length plane (MLE) of the honeycomb at roughly half the honeycomb height, and this band is joined at both ends (39) and at regular intervals along its length to the base panel via vertical cables, and to honeycomb edge sections via pairs of V-shaped horizontal cables (47). Angled cables (48) on the outside of the device link these honeycomb edge sections to the base panel.

Abstract (de)

Der Anpralldämpfer (1) umfasst wabenförmige Verformungsräume (8). Diese sind durch Stahlbleche (7, 7a) gebildet, welche zu einer Verformungsstruktur (11) zusammengesteckt werden können. Die Verformungsstruktur (11) ist am Ende (3) einer Leitplanke (2) in deren Längsrichtung abgestützt. Sie ist außerdem auf einer, ortsfesten Bodenplatte (16) verlagerbar und von einem Zugband (30) relativ beweglich durchzogen. Das Zugband (30) ist über seine Enden (33, 39) sowie über im Abstand zueinander angeordnete vertikale Bandstränge mit der Bodenplatte (16) und über paarweise V-förmig ausgerichtete horizontale Bandstränge (47) mit Randabschnitten (7a) der Verformungsstruktur (11) verbunden. Die Randabschnitte (7a) sind außerdem über randseitig vorgesehene, schräg verlaufende Bandstränge (48) mit der Bodenplatte (16) verbunden. <IMAGE>
