Abstract (en)
The overflow has a siphon which has a housing (1) and an inlet nozzle (2) with a valve seat (5) facing upwards. A valve ball (6) is located below the valve seat in the housing and acts as a float, resting against a support surface (7) and blocking off the valve seat once the water level reaches a certain height. The overflow also has an outlet nozzle (3) for connecting to a wastewater channel. The inlet channel and the valve seat are offset with respect to the valve ball.

Ein Überlauf mit einem Siphon hat ein Siphongehäuse (1) mit einem in etwa senkrecht ausgerichteten Einlaufstutzen (2) und einen mit leichtem Gefälle ausgerichteten Auslassstutzen (3). Koaxial zu dem Einlaufstutzen (2) ist in dem Siphongehäuse (1) ein Ventilsitz (5) angeordnet, gegen den eine als Schwimmer ausgebildete, in Offenstellung auf einer Abstützung (7) aufsitzende, bei unzulässig stark ansteigendem Flüssigkeitsspiegel dichtend gegen den Ventilsitz (5 Ventilkugel (6) bewegbar ist. Hierdurch bildet der Siphon mit einem Rückstauventil eine bauliche Einheit. <IMAGE>
