Abstract (en)
A turbine, having a deformable sealing material (19) in the gap between a rotating blade tip (14) and a stationary component (15), is new. An Independent claim is also included for a method of sealing a gap between a rotating blade tip (14) and a stationary component (15) of a turbine, in which a sealing material (19) in the gap deforms during blade movement so that any space left in the gap is insignificant.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Strömungsmaschine (1), insbesondere eine Gasturbine, bei der in einem Spalt (17) zwischen Laufschaufeln (13) und einem diesen gegenüber liegenden ruhenden Bauteil (15) ein verformbares Dichtmaterial (19) mit einer vergleichsweise hohen Duktilität angeordnet ist, so daß das Dichtmaterial (19) bei einem Anstreifen der Laufschaufeln (13) am ruhenden Bauteil (15) verformt wird. <IMAGE>
