Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1026569A1] The input to the voltage regulator is connected to a first supply voltage (Vbb), and the output voltage (Ua) at an output (OUT) in normal operation via a feedback line (RL) to an input of an integrated circuit with a drive circuit (AN), for regulating the output voltage to a predetermined voltage. A circuit (SDU) is provided for detecting an interruption in the feedback line. In the event of an interruption, the output is switched from the predetermined voltage to a second predetermined voltage.
