Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19835555A1] The invention relates to a method and device for wet-grinding and dispersing solid particles in fluids, by means of an agitating mill comprising at least one milling chamber (1) housing the milling bodies (3) and at least one rotor (2). The product to be ground (4) is introduced in said milling chamber from the outside, directly or through a hollow shaft (5), and bulk-transferred in a single operation, from the inside to the outside, through the milling bodies (3). Then, it is driven to cross the remaining layer of milling bodies, in reverse direction, from the outside to the inside, and is finally transported through outlet openings (11). The inventive device is characterised in that the centrifugal force existing in the milling chamber, and possibly pressing applied by the milling bodies and flowing of said product to be ground are balanced. At least one separation device (110) is provided in the milling chamber (1) in the region of the outlet openings(11).
