Abstract (en)
The ring (9) catches the esophagus (6) and is pushed back along it by the rod (8), reaching a point near the rumen (3) (first stomach). The novel actuator (11) moves the rod over the full length of the esophagus, held steady by a hook (19) on the esophagus. The control (15) causes the rod to move back and forth. Preferred features: The hook (19) fixed on the actuator, pulls out and holds the esophagus, through a slit in the neck. In a variant, a grip holds the esophagus, keeping the actuator steady. The same button (18) controls both the grip and the rod advance inside the animal. It controls a double-acting pneumatic cylinder.

Appareil de pose de ligatures d'herbière sur des ruminants, et notamment sur des bovins, ledit appareil comprenant un anneau (9) destiné à venir s'engager autour de l'herbière (6) et une tige (8) permettant de repousser l'anneau (9) le long de l'herbière jusqu'au voisinage de la panse (3) de l'animal, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte en combinaison : un vérin (11) apte à déplacer la tige (8) sur une longueur sensiblement égale à celle de l'herbière, un dispositif (19) permettant d'immobiliser le vérin par rapport à l'herbière, un anneau ouvert (9) solidaire de l'extrémité de la tige (8), et un dispositif de commande (15) permettant d'actionner le vérin (11) pour déplacer la tige (8) dans les deux directions. <IMAGE>
