A hollow cast component, having an externally accessible recess (15) for accommodating a closure piece (14) transverse to a core opening (13). A hollow cast component, having one or more core openings (13) to be subsequently closed, has an externally accessible recess (15) positioned transverse to the or each core opening within its interior and/or at an internal surface adjoining an enclosed cavity (12), the recess (15) intersecting and covering the core opening and a closure piece being located in the recess to close the core opening. Abstract (de)
In einem hohlgegossenen Bauteil ist eine fertigungsbedingte Kernöffnung (13) mittels eines Verschlussstücks (14) verschlossen. Dieses Verschlusstück liegt innerhalb einer Aussparung (15) in dem Bauteil, wobei die Aussparung so angeordnet ist, dass sie vollständig im Gussmaterial eingebettet ist und die Kernöffnung vollständig überdeckt. Aufgrund dieses Einbaus, ist das Verschlussstück in Richtung zweier Raumachsen formschlüssig fixiert, so, dass eine zusätzliche Fügeverbindung das Verschlusstück nur in der Einbaurichtung fixieren muss. Die Einbaurichtung liegt bevorzugt normal zur Richtung der maximalen Belastung des Verschlussstücks, weshalb eine Fügeverbindung im vergleichsweise gering belastet wird, und daher mit geringem Aufwand und hoher Betriebssicherheit herzustellen ist. <IMAGE>
