Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9912830A1] A shirt holder which comprises a rectangular back support flat sheet portion (1) corresponding to the back of a folded shirt, a front support flat sheet portion (2) so disposed as to oppose the back support flat sheet portion (1) and a shirt neck protection portion (3). The back support flat sheet portion (1) and the front support flat sheet portion (2) are formed independently of each other, and the front support flat sheet portion (2) and the neck protection portion (3) are formed integrally with each other. The shirt holder has a box shape equipped with a peripheral wall portion (11) which is formed round the back support flat sheet portion (1) and to which a fitting portion (7) of protuberances (12) formed round the front support sheet portion (2) fits. Protuberances (15 and 16) of the back support flat sheet portion (1) and protuberances (13 and 14) of the front support flat sheet portion (2) are disposed alternately in such a manner as to deviate from one another. This shirt holder can prevent a deformation by hanger of a dress shirt, and can advantageously prevent the shirt from sliding down even when the shirt is suspended and displayed in the shop. Therefore, new men's dress shirts as shipped from manufacturers, men's shirts folded after cleaning and ironing, ladies' blouses, sports' shirts such as polo shirts, can be stacked and stored without collapsing their shapes, can be suspended and displayed in the shop or can be transported while being stored in bags and trunks.
