The flow deflector (11) is connected to a platform (15), shaped like a parallelogram with a nose (14) extending in circumferential direction. The rear edge base point and front edge base point of the flow deflector are each located in one corner of the parallelogram. One longitudinal parallelogram side is positioned as a tangent to the suction-sided profile line. The nose is positioned on the downstream end suction-sided long parallelogram side of the platform.

Eine Strömungsmaschinenkomponente besteht im wesentlichen aus einer Strömungsumlenkvorrichtung (11), welche auf der Plattform (15) des Fusses der Komponente angeordnet ist Im Betrieb ist diese Komponente durch aerodynamische Kräfte, Wärmespannungen, und gegebenenfalls Fliehkräfte mechanisch hoch belastet, wobei auch die Materialtemperatur sehr hoch sein kann. Besonders ungünstige Spannungsverhältnisse finden sich am Übergang von der Strömungsumlenkvorrichtung (11) in die Plattform (15), unter anderem aufgrund der Umlenkung des Kraftflusses und der Kerbwirkung im engen Übergangsradius. Insbesondere am Vorderkanten-Basispunkt (16), am Hinterkanten-Basispunkt (17), und im Bereich der maximalen Profilwölbung der saugseitigen Profillinie (19). Der Kraftfluss wird verbessert und die Lebensdauer der Komponente erhöht, wenn die Plattform so gestaltet wird, dass die mechanisch hoch belasteten Stellen am Plattformrand zu liegen kommen. <IMAGE>
