Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1028602A2] The method involves comparing a measured temp. with a switch-off temperature, and then forming first and second time derivatives of the temp. signal and detecting actuation of control and regulation elements if the temp. signal lies outside a predefined separation interval w.r.t. the switch-off temp. The method then involves forming a control signal if both time derivatives are positive and the regulating and control elements have not been activated to increase the power delivered within a preceding defined time interval.. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
