[origin: WO9858112A1] In a fabric washing and milling machine fabric to be treated is carried through a passage or tunnel (5) by means of a heated air stream to a milling trough (8). Water may be supplied to the fabric in the passage (5). In a modification the milling trough comprises two endless conveyor belts which carry the fabric forward and subject it to a reciprocating force. As the fabric may be treated withouth being passed through a nip faults in the fabric are reduced or eliminated.
