The safety cap has a security strip(5) which is attached to the bottom (7) of the cap with predetermined breaking points and has a fixed portion (8) which is fully attached to it. A vertical breaking line (9) is located in the security strip near the fixed portion. It also has at least one weakened section (11) on the side of the attached portion which is nearer to the vertical breaking line.

Eine Verschlusskappe (1) mit einem Kappenboden (2) und einer Kappenwand (4) ist über Sollbruchstellen (6) und eine Anwachsstelle (8) mit einem Garantieband (5) verbunden. Das Garantieband ist mit einer etwa vertikal verlaufenden Sollbruchlinie (9) und mit Schwächungszonen (11) versehen. Die Schwächungszonen (11) sind auf der - in Umfangsrichtung gesehen - abgewandten Seite (12) benachbart zu der Anwachsstelle (8) im Garantieband (5) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
