[origin: EP1030075A1] The process for sticking segments of frictional-coated material to a carrier ring (8) comprises stamping the segments from a strip with an adhesive coating on the reverse side, using the punches (6) of a punching machine (3) and then sticking them to the ring. Several strips are distributed around the circumference of the ring and all the strips are then punched simultaneously.
