Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1030158A1] The igniter consists of a housing containing a heating resistance connected to an electronic board, and pyrotechnic priming and ignition compounds. The igniter has a transverse partition (8) dividing the interior of the housing into a forward chamber containing the heating resistance and the priming and ignition compounds, and an after chamber containing the electronic board, with electrical connectors in the form of metal pins (13, 14) passing through the partition to connect the board's conducting tracks to the heating element.
