[origin: DE19750455C1] Aqueous formulations containing: (a) 5-10 wt.% hydrogen peroxide and (b) 5-15 wt.% oxo alcohol ethoxylates are used as bleach for pretreating textiles. Aqueous formulations containing (a) 5-10 wt.% hydrogen peroxide and (b) 5-15 wt.% oxo alcohol ethoxylates of formula (I), which have a hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 6-12, rest water and optionally usual ancillaries and additives, are used as bleach for pretreating textiles; R<1> = isododecyl or isotridecyl; n = 5-10.
