[origin: EP1031438A2] The holder consists of a vessel deep enough to receive the bristles and bristle holder of the brush, and two supple magnetic panels for attaching the holder to the outer surface of a container made from a ferromagnetic material. The panels can be made from a supple magnetic natural or synthetic elastomer such as rubber, plastic or silicone. The holder (1), designed to receive a flat (PP) or round (PR) brush and optional diluting agent or thinners (DI), consists of a vessel deep enough to receive the bristles and a bristle holder of the brush, and two supple magnetic panels (2) for attaching the holder to the outer surface of a container (3) made from a ferromagnetic material. The panels can be made from a supple magnetic natural or synthetic elastomer such as rubber, plastic or silicone, or they can contain rigid magnetic elements e.g. of ferrite joined by strips of a supple material lying parallel to the container's axis.
